The entrance examination hall implements full video surveillance

This year’s college entrance examination in Anhui Province has set a new standard for security and supervision, marking it as one of the most strictly regulated exams in recent years. From the moment test papers are sealed to their delivery to exam centers, every step is closely monitored to prevent any form of cheating or tampering. To ensure the integrity of the test materials, an additional layer of plastic film was applied to the outer packaging of the test paper bags. This measure is designed to prevent unauthorized access or manipulation before the exams begin. All transportation vehicles used for delivering the test papers are equipped with GPS tracking systems and video monitoring, allowing for real-time oversight of the entire delivery process. In addition, all 17,000 examination rooms across the province are now fully equipped with high-definition video surveillance systems—often referred to as "electronic eyes." These systems not only monitor students during the exam but also record the entire session, enabling officials to review footage if any disputes arise regarding rule violations. This ensures that both candidates and invigilators are held accountable throughout the process. The provincial education authorities have also implemented comprehensive measures to combat technological cheating. Special operations such as “Cracking Down on Electronic Cheating Devices” and “Cleaning Up the Exam Environment” have been launched. Radio monitoring teams patrol the area around each exam center, scanning for illegal signals that could be used for cheating. Any suspicious activity is immediately reported and investigated by law enforcement. Moreover, online platforms are under constant surveillance to detect and remove any harmful or misleading information related to the exams. Real-time monitoring helps identify and address potential threats before they can affect the fairness of the process. Meteorological forecasts indicate the possibility of severe weather conditions, including thunderstorms and high winds. In response, all levels of the education system have developed detailed emergency plans. Regular drills have been conducted to ensure that staff and students are prepared for any unexpected situation, from extreme weather to power outages or other disruptions. To further strengthen oversight, over 190 government officials and university administrators have been deployed as provincial supervisors. They are responsible for ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly and that the environment remains secure and confidential. At the same time, disciplinary inspection teams conduct random checks at various testing sites to maintain transparency and accountability. This year’s college entrance exam in Anhui has taken a multi-layered approach to security, combining advanced technology, strict regulations, and thorough monitoring to ensure a fair and safe environment for all participants. Every effort has been made to protect the integrity of the exam and uphold the values of academic honesty.
