Cooling fan cleaning method
Step 1: Remove the Wet Curtain
There are four sections of the wet curtain, and all need to be removed. First, unscrew the three screws located at the top of the wet curtain. Then, hold the louvers on the upper part of the wet curtain and gently pull it out while lifting it slightly to take it off completely.
Step 2: Remove the Top Cover and Water Distribution Pipe Assembly
Start by unscrewing the screw on the top cover and lift it up and down to remove it. Next, loosen the hose clamp on the water pipe and carefully lift the pipe assembly upwards to take it out.
Step 3: Clean the Cloth Pipe
If there is a blockage in the water pipe, use a thin wire to clear the clogged hole. Then, rinse the cloth pipe with clean water to remove any dirt or stains.
Step 4: Clean the Chassis and Accessories
1. To clean the chassis, use a soft cloth or a brush. 2. For the blades, wipe them gently with a soft cloth, being careful not to let dust fall into the duct. 3. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the water level sensor. 4. For the water pump, use a brush to clean the filter net and remove any debris. 5. When cleaning the drain valve, pay special attention to the bottom area where dirt may accumulate.
Step 5: Clean the Wet Curtain
Rinse the wet curtain from the inside out using clean water. Note that the water pressure should not be too high. Also, never use acidic or alkaline detergents, as they can damage the material.
Step 6: Clean the Filter
1. Twist off the back cover of the filter. 2. Remove any dirt or debris inside the filter, then replace the back cover once cleaned.
Step 7: Reassemble the Unit
After completing all cleaning steps, reassemble the unit in the reverse order of disassembly. Important: Always turn off the power before cleaning to avoid electric shock or other injuries.
