After the reform and opening up, many Taiwanese entrepreneurs introduced these products to the mainland, and companies in Linhai began manufacturing components for foreign clients. By 2012, the output value of outdoor leisure products in Linhai reached over 19 billion yuan, with exports reaching 16.1 billion yuan, including 1.29 billion U.S. dollars in self-operated exports. This data highlights that approximately 90% of Linhai's outdoor leisure products are exported overseas. However, the industry faced challenges due to the complex international trade environment and shrinking global markets. Despite this, Linhai has managed to stabilize its foreign trade exports through enterprise innovation and the expansion of export channels. According to Ye, the output value from January to September this year saw a year-on-year growth of about 10%. While domestic procurement has increased in recent years, domestic consumption remains relatively low, accounting for around 5% to 8%. This exhibition not only showcases the latest trends in outdoor furniture and leisure products but also reflects the resilience and adaptability of Linhai's industry in the face of global economic shifts.
