In order to identify the most effective pesticides for controlling *Acanthophyllum striata*, engineers from Anhui Tianzhushan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. conducted experiments at several locations within Tianzhushan National Forest Park, including Tianzhu Temple, Mazu, Changgou, and Villa, between 2011 and 2012. The study involved four different pesticide formulations: 5% imidacloprid EC, 40% omethoate EC, 4.5% beta-cypermethrin EC, and 25% diflubenzuron suspension. A total of 32 treatment combinations were tested using spray application methods to evaluate their effectiveness against *A. striata*. The results showed a strong correlation between the concentration of the pesticide applied and its control efficacy, with R² values greater than 0.9, indicating high linearity in the relationship. All four chemical agents demonstrated good control effects on *A. striata*, but the performance varied significantly depending on the concentration used. According to the China Pesticide Network, the combination of 5% imidacloprid EC and 40% omethoate EC provided the best overall results in terms of pest control. These findings can help guide future pesticide selection and application strategies for more efficient management of *A. striata* in the region.
