Cement spacer machine should keep the size of the gap
The cement pad machine is designed with specific gap tolerances in each component to ensure smooth and efficient operation. During the commissioning process, it's crucial to check that all these gaps meet the required standards. If the clearance is too tight, it can lead to excessive friction between moving parts, which not only affects the performance of the equipment but can also cause damage over time. Below are the recommended gap dimensions for various components of the cement pad machine.
1. The gap between the scraper and the bottom plate of the feeding mechanism should not exceed 2 mm.
2. The space between the underside of the feeding unit and the main plate should be no more than 0.5 mm.
3. The gap between the adjusting ring and the feeding tray at the upper feeder should be between 0.5 and 1 mm.
4. Adjust the track height so that after the brick is ejected, the mold surface remains higher than the disk surface. This can be achieved by using thin sheet metal on the track and support surface.
5. Adjust the pressure shaft of the cement pad mechanism to ensure it can produce the desired pad size.
6. Fine-tune the reversing disc mechanism, as well as the gasket and crank mechanisms on the axis, to ensure smooth movement during the idle stroke, with a maximum gap of 3 mm.
7. Adjust the nut on the large vertical shaft so that the bottom plane of the bearing plate and the top plane of the reversing plate remain parallel, with a gap of 1–1.5 mm.
After completing the setup, it's essential to perform a test run. This includes two stages: a no-load test and a load test. Before starting the test, inspect the machine visually, tighten any loose parts, clean debris from the reversing plate, horizontal holes, and other moving components, and apply lubricant to all grease points. Then manually rotate the cement pad machine’s reversing plate for 2–3 cycles to ensure there is no jamming. Once everything checks out, proceed with the test run to confirm proper functionality.
