Several problems to be noticed in car fire

When a car catches fire, it typically doesn't explode right away unless it contains flammable or explosive materials. The dramatic explosion often seen in movies after a car is on fire is inaccurate and misleading. Such incorrect depictions can hinder the actions of first responders and put injured people at greater risk by delaying critical rescue efforts. In reality, when a car is engulfed in flames, there may still be a few minutes to act for self-rescue or assistance. If you find yourself in a situation where your car is on fire, the first thing to do is check if there are any fire extinguishers available near or on the vehicle. If there is one, use it immediately to control the fire. Then, call emergency services right away and seek help from others around you. Most car fires spread slowly. It usually takes about 8 minutes from the initial ignition until the entire vehicle is fully ablaze. After about 6 minutes, the temperature inside the cabin can rise above 100°C. Always remember to dial 119 (or the local emergency number) and use the onboard fire extinguisher as soon as possible. Fire extinguishers are mandatory equipment in vehicles. If you have a dry powder extinguisher, it's advisable to have it inspected annually at a local fire equipment store to check for powder clumping and ensure the internal nitrogen cylinder is still pressurized. When using an extinguisher, approach the fire source — usually the engine compartment — open the hood slightly, and spray short bursts into the engine area. However, completely opening the engine cover can introduce more oxygen, which might cause the fire to intensify or even result in a small explosion. If the fire cannot be controlled with the extinguisher, move to a safe distance and wait for professional firefighters to arrive. In many Hollywood action films, you often see cars bursting into flames with loud explosions, but this is purely for visual effect. In real life, such dramatic scenes are not typical and are used mainly for entertainment value. What causes car fires? Most auto-ignitions are due to mechanical issues, such as overheated engine parts, electrical sparks, short circuits, or fuel leaks. Car fires are relatively rare — only about 3% of all accidents lead to fires. Two-thirds of these incidents occur in vehicles that are six years old or older, often due to poor maintenance. These older vehicles are more prone to failure, especially during hot summer months. To reduce the risk, regular maintenance is essential. Additionally, older vehicles should be given rest periods during long trips and parked in cool, shaded areas to avoid excessive heat buildup. Low Porosity Refractory Brick

Low porosity clay bricks are made of low aluminum mullite as the main raw material, formed by high pressure molding and high temperature sintering. The main mineral composition is mullite phase, the product has excellent high temperature physical properties and chemical erosion resistance.
Low porosity clay brick stability is good, the degree of erosion does not occur sudden change, than ordinary clay brick life increased by 2 to 3 times. Thermal conductivity, specific heat and solubility, respectively, than ordinary clay bricks 2 times higher than 10% and 40%, heat storage capacity than ordinary clay bricks 50% to 60% higher than the thermal efficiency of the kiln can be improved.

Low porosity clay bricks are characterized by:
1. Low porosity, 13 to 15%;
2. Load softening temperature is high for about 1472 ℃;
3. High compressive strength at room temperature, generally about 100MPa;
4. Good volume stability at high temperature and good abrasion resistance;
5. good resistance to infiltration and erosion.

Low porosity clay brick as a good clay refractory brick products, so often used in chemical erosion, temperature fluctuations in the environment, such as steel, glass, chemical industry. The effect is quite obvious in the use of glass hot room and the use of iron water tank.
