About 520 South Korean entrepreneurs will attend the speech of the Prime Minister.

Minister Pangshava said that the Prime Minister will introduce Thailand’s rapid economic recovery after the devastating floods in Thailand due to the huge reconstruction funds invested by the government of about 350 billion baht, coupled with the reconstruction of private industrial and commercial sectors and social families. At the same time, it introduced the government's measures to deal with floods, allowing the South Korean business community to restore confidence in investing in Thailand.

In addition, the Prime Minister will also discuss investment and participation in investment projects in Thailand with representatives from Dass Technologies Inc., which intends to invest in solar power projects, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, which participates in power plant projects, Moca Molding Co., which specializes in mold making, and Samwoo Company. The total amount of related investment projects is about 12 billion baht.

Boe, director of BOI's Seoul Economic and Investment Bureau in South Korea, said that he hopes that South Korean entrepreneurs and investors will increase their understanding of Thailand through road shows. Thailand has an advanced tourism industry and is an important agricultural product processing and manufacturing base.

In 2015, ASEAN achieved economic integration. It also enabled South Korean companies operating in Thailand to win a large ASEAN market. South Korean companies are the focus of BOI development because South Korean companies have good potential for development and technology. Industry insiders believe that for Thailand to raise its daily wage to 300 baht in April, it is only a psychological factor for powerful companies.

According to Luo Baihui, secretary-general of the International Model Association, the Thai government’s goal is to attract South Korean entrepreneurs to invest in Thailand, especially environmental protection projects such as waste power plants and mold manufacturing. Chinese mold companies can also transfer relevant technologies to Thailand.
