**Abstract**
In order to enhance the company's environmental management system, build a positive external image, and establish itself as an environmentally responsible enterprise, Henan Huanghe Cyclone Co., Ltd. has introduced additional guidelines for its environmental protection efforts. It is strongly recommended that all departments actively implement these measures and make necessary improvements at the earliest opportunity.
1. **Strengthen the management of solid waste across all units**:
All departments are required to maintain detailed records of all solid waste generated, including production volume, disposal quantity, and associated contracts or agreements. Before any disposal takes place, the waste must be reported to the company’s Safety and Environmental Protection Technology Office for approval. Disposal can only proceed after confirmation from this office, and unauthorized disposal is strictly prohibited.
2. **Conduct regular air quality monitoring**:
The Product Company, Metal Powder Company, and Super-Hard Wheel Material Business Department are required to perform routine exhaust gas monitoring at least four times per year. Only certified institutions are authorized to issue monitoring reports, which must then be submitted to the Safety and Environmental Protection Technology Office for review and record-keeping.
3. **Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for new projects**:
Any new construction, expansion, or major technological upgrades must undergo an Environmental Impact Assessment. The EIA report must be completed and approved before any project can proceed. Prior to submitting EIA materials, the R&D Department must first provide relevant pollution information to the Safety and Environmental Protection Technology Office for verification before submission.
4. **Control over sewage and water system modifications**:
Any renovation or modification to the company’s sewage, rainwater, or water supply systems must be reported to the Safety and Environmental Protection Technology Office. All such works must be carried out by the company in a unified manner to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
5. **Hazardous waste handling procedures**:
Hazardous waste must be managed in accordance with the company’s established hazardous waste disposal regulations. Unauthorized transfer or sale of hazardous waste is strictly forbidden.
6. **Proper disposal of used lubricating oil and paint sludge**:
All units are required to send used lubricating oil and paint sludge to the designated hazardous waste storage area within the purification plant. These materials must not be disposed of independently.
7. **Enclosure of hazardous waste storage areas**:
The hazardous waste storage area in the purification plant must be fully enclosed to prevent leakage, contamination, and unauthorized access.
8. **Inspection of sewage and rainwater pipelines**:
The company will conduct inspections of all sewage and rainwater pipelines. Any unit found discharging sewage or oily wastewater into the rainwater system will be notified and subject to disciplinary action.
9. **Monitoring of wastewater discharge**:
The company will monitor the wastewater discharged by each department. Any wastewater exceeding the permitted standards must not be directly released into the sewage pipeline and must be treated accordingly before discharge.
