China's First Nano-sized Lithium Titanate Battery Passes Identification

On July 25, workers are producing cutting models of lithium titanium dioxide batteries.
Tianchang Tiankang New Energy Co., Ltd. has been working with Peking University and other academic institutions for four years to develop China’s first nano-sized lithium titanate battery. Recently, the battery successfully passed tests at the National Power and Energy Storage Battery Testing Center and received recognition as a provincial-level scientific and technological achievement. This innovative technology allows the battery to maintain efficient performance even in extreme cold, operating effectively at temperatures as low as -30°C.
Currently, the company’s lithium titanate batteries have already been tested in various electric vehicles, including electric fire engines. These batteries boast an impressive cycle life of over 20,000 cycles, which translates to a potential service life of more than 15 years. This breakthrough marks a significant step forward in the development of long-lasting, high-performance energy storage solutions for the automotive industry.
The project was reported by Li Bo, with assistance from intern Zhou Cheng and correspondent Li Bingwang. As research continues to push the boundaries of battery technology, innovations like this are paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future in transportation and energy storage.
