The new material SABIC® PP 514M12 can be used in a wide range of personal hygiene products and other peripheral markets. This product is the first in a series of new high-flow resin compounds that SABIC began researching and developing two years ago and is expected to be put into commercial use by the end of 2018.

SABIC® PP 514M12 is phthalate-free and odor-free, highly elastic, spinnable and uniform in texture, providing good processing properties for meltblown fibers. The resulting nonwoven fabric has high insulation and absorption, and is light, thin and breathable through the ultra-light and high-performance fiber mesh, which can reduce consumables.
Meltblown fibers made from SABIC® 514M12 polymer have a final melt flow rate of more than 1,000 g/10 min, creating a potential solution for ultra-light, thin, non-woven fabric production with the aim of providing better product resistance Abrasive and breathable while maintaining good isolation.
