Sinopec raised jet fuel ex-factory price from August 1

On August 1, the reporter learned from the industry information agencies that since midnight on August 1st, the 3# aviation kerosene factory settlement price paid by Sinopec's refining company to the sales company has been adjusted from 7540 yuan/ton to 7668 yuan/ton, and raised 128 Yuan / ton. Sinopec Sales Company's 3# aviation kerosene prices for CAO were adjusted from RMB7,640/tonne to RMB 7,718/tonne, up RMB 78/tonne; the ex-factory price of 3# aviation kerosene for the Army was adjusted from RMB 7,640/ton to RMB 7,768/ Ton, increase by 128 yuan/ton.

According to the notice issued by the National Development and Reform Commission on July 12, the ex-factory price of aviation kerosene will gradually be market-priced. Since August 1, 2011, the ex-factory price of aviation kerosene will be adjusted once a month, and the price adjustment will be on the 1st of every month. This is the first adjustment since the implementation of the new regulations.

The National Development and Reform Commission stated that in order to steadily advance market-oriented reforms, the ex-factory price of jet fuel for kerosene should not be determined in accordance with the principle of not exceeding the duty-paid price of imports from the Singapore market. The specific ex-factory price consists of the imported duty-paying price and the premium. Among them, discounted water is negotiated and determined by the supply and demand sides in consideration of market supply and demand, freight, the number of transactions, and the trend of oil prices in the international market, and is negotiated once a year.

The National Development and Reform Commission stated that the improved pricing mechanism for aviation kerosene prices has taken a big step toward marketization and is also a beneficial attempt for market-oriented reform of domestic refined oil prices.

On August 1, Spring Airlines took the lead in issuing notifications of adjustments to the fuel surcharges on domestic routes. The increase in the standard for passengers on routes of more than 800 kilometers was increased by 10 yuan to 150 yuan. However, the 800 km or less route will remain unchanged at 80 yuan. Other airlines have not yet announced the adjustment of fuel surcharges.

Related analysts believe that this linkage is inevitable, aviation kerosene prices rise, resulting in increased cost of aviation companies, in order to ease the increase in oil prices to the airlines to increase the pressure on the cost, the airline will also adjust the surcharge based on aviation kerosene prices .
