The plan proposes that Guangdong will actively promote information service tariff reform in the 9 cities of the Pearl River Delta. In terms of communication tariffs, before the end of 2010, adjustments were made to the prepaid tariff packages with a large difference in mobile phone prices in each city. Prior to January 2012, the long-distance and roaming charges for mobile phones between Guangzhou and Foshan were cancelled, and fixed-telephone calls in various economic circles were adjusted to inter-zone calling rates, so as to achieve the integration of Guangfo, Zhuzhongjiang and Shenwanhui communications.
