Increased prices of PVC in many countries to drive up demand in the real estate market

Recently, it has been learned that the prices of PVC products in India and Turkey have been raised compared with the previous period, Indian product prices have been USD 1199-1239/ton, and Korean product prices have also been raised to USD 1095/ton, which is USD 40/ton higher than the previous period. In the Turkish region, US products are quoted at USD 1040-1110/t cfr; in Western Europe, prices range from USD 1400-1450/t (cash, including value-added tax), and downstream companies claim that inventory is still relatively sufficient to purchase on demand alone. There will be no urgency to purchase PVC products in a short period of time, and the market demand is still slightly insufficient. Currently, it is taking a wait-and-see attitude. According to traders, the PVC market in India will react accordingly after the quotation of exporting China in March in Northeast Asia. Another source revealed that India, Indonesia and other places have gradually emerged from the shadow of the economic crisis. The firmness of the domestic real estate market has also led to an increase in the demand for PVC for decorative building materials, which has a certain supportive role in the later period.
