Farmers' small urea ammoniation technology

The urea ammoniation method of straw can be carried out in the mantle, the container, the plastic bag or in the form of stacking, and the operation is simple and convenient, and is suitable for self-use in rural small households.

The aqueous solution is prepared to estimate the total weight of the ammoniated straw. The ratio of 3-5 kg of urea is added to 100 kg of straw, and the urea is fully dissolved in 40-50 kg of water to prepare an aqueous solution.

Filling or stacking firstly cut wheat straw, straw, corn stover, etc. into small sections of 5-10 cm long. When filling or stacking, spray the prepared urea aqueous solution layer by layer on the straw and mix well. The straw is brought into full contact with the aqueous urea solution. Spray while stirring, while stepping on. In the mantle in the mantle, it is generally expected to fill the mouth 30-50 cm, if it is stacking, the height should be 1.5-2.0 m, then covered with plastic film, and the surrounding is compacted with wet mud. In order to prevent rodents, soil pressure can be applied to the plastic film. The urea aqueous solution is preferably used up on the same day, and each ammoniated mantle or stack must be sealed on the same day. The basic method is the same as above, and the amount of ammoniation can be flexibly controlled.

Sealability Check the quality of the seal is one of the key links in the quality of straw ammoniation. During the ammoniation of straw, it is necessary to check the plastic film for damage and leakage, especially to prevent the mouse from biting the plastic film and find that the damage should be repaired in time.

The length of the ammoniation time of the ammonia in the ammoniation time is closely related to the ambient temperature. When the temperature is high, the time required for ammoniation is short, and vice versa, it takes a long time. Generally 2-3 weeks in summer, 3-6 weeks in spring and autumn, 4-8 weeks in winter, or even longer.

According to the sensory examination, the straw with good ammoniation quality is not mildewed, the color is yellow and brown, the smell is fragrant, the texture is loose and soft, the straw is easy to break, and there is a pungent ammonia smell. On the contrary, if the straw is gray or brownish black, there is a pungent smell, and the straw sticks into a block, indicating that the quality of ammoniation is poor and cannot be used as feed.

After the ammoniated straw is used and stored for a specified period of time, it can be opened for use. Generally, after taking out, put the ammonia on the ventilated and dry concrete floor for 1-3 days before feeding. Don't leave the residual ammonia to feed it to prevent cattle and sheep from poisoning. It is still necessary to seal the crucible, crucible or container after each use, and avoid entering the water. When the amount of ammoniated straw is small, it can also be taken out at one time. After being spread out and dried, it will be piled up in the corner of the free house or the barn. It can be used as needed, taking care to prevent sun and rain.
